I am a Minneapolis-based freelance multimedia journalist, photojournalist, and stringer available for immediate assignments. I specialize in high-stakes, on-the-ground reporting and am available for national and local outlets.

My military background instilled in me professional discipline, discretion, and the ability to operate effectively in complex, high-stress, and chaotic environments. This provides a unique foundation for journalistic work.

To meet the fast-paced needs of any news desk, I provide a full range of “one-person bureau” services:

• Photojournalism: Delivery of selects with fully compliant, embedded IPTC metadata captions.

• Video: Filing of stable, high quality 1080p B-roll and high quality SOTs for web and social.

• Text reporting: Filing of raws, detailed scene-setters, and fully attributed quotes for staff writers.
